Shareholder discussion groups 2024

The Murray Irrigation Board will undertake a round of Shareholder discussion groups from the 16th to the 27th of September to understand shareholder sentiment around the government’s intent to undertake further water buybacks in the Murray Irrigation footprint. 

 

The purpose of these discussions is to gather constructive shareholder input on how we can work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community. 


If you are interested in attending or hosting one of these discussion groups, please register your interest below before Friday, 6 September 2024.

The results from this registration of interest process will assist us in developing a schedule that reaches as much of the footprint as possible. 


Discussion group schedule

A number of meetings will be held across the footprint between 18 - 27 September to gather constructive shareholder input on how we can work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community. 

Based on the majority of responses from the registration of interest requesting small groups meetings, these meetings will be hosted by shareholders at their properties, with key management personnel and Board members attending.
 
All shareholders who registered their interest to attend a discussion group have been contacted by Murray Irrigation.
