Shareholder Update - 8 April 2024

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In recognition of the difficult circumstances Murray Irrigation and its shareholders are currently facing, the company is extending its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) free of charge to all shareholders for the next 30 days.

What is EAP?

EAP provides free, professional and confidential counselling services to assist you and your immediate family members through both personal and work-related problems, including:

  • Work pressures
  • Personal trauma
  • Child and family issues
  • Grief and bereavement
  • Financial and legal issues
  • Separation, divorce, or relationship difficulties
  • Stress, anxiety, conflict, tension, and depression
  • Health and lifestyle issues (including drugs, alcohol and gambling).

EAP counsellors are qualified, experienced professionals who have extensive training in counselling and workplace consulting.

How do you access this service?

To access this service, shareholders can call AccessEAP on 1800 818 728 and advise the call receiver you are a MIL shareholder. This will provide you with the same level of confidential counselling services that are available to our staff.

Throughout this 30 day time period, AccessEAP is also providing an additional dedicated phone support service, where 30-minute confidential counselling sessions can be pre-booked saving you the time of waiting in a telephone que to speak with a counsellor. You can make a confidential booking for this service via this

In addition to this, Murray Irrigation has organised for an AccessEAP Clinical Response Counsellor to be onsite on Wednesday 10 April and Thursday 11 April between 10am-4pm which shareholders are more than welcome to utilise.

We’d like to reiterate that this service is entirely confidential and available to all shareholders who feel they need extra care and support through this time. No Murray Irrigation staff or Board member will be made aware of the identity or discussions taken place as part of this service offering.

It is our hope that any shareholder who feels unsettled, upset or concerned for any reason during this period utilises this service.

Regards

Chair, Phil Snowden and CEO, Ron McCalman
