The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) announced a 35% General Security Allocation for the NSW Murray yesterday.
The allocation has been credited to customer accounts.
You can subscribe to the Department’s updates by email and download the announcement here.
The 5% Allocation Advance was also credited to water accounts yesterday, in accordance with the Board approved Resource Management Strategy.

The NSW Government has opened up applications for on-farm efficiency projects to help deliver more water back to the environment.
Businesses across NSW with irrigation, stock and domestic networks, as well as urban, industrial and mining systems are being invited to apply for funding grants under the Australian Government’s $494 million Resilient Rivers Water Infrastructure Program.
The four-year initiative builds on the former Off-farm Efficiency Program, funding projects that improve and modernise water delivery infrastructure, supporting progress towards recovering 450 GL of environmental water under the Basin Plan and a healthier river system.

Farmers in the Finley and Coleambally districts can expand their knowledge, free of charge, at a series of Rabo Client Council workshops – co-hosted with Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia (RGA) – designed to help provide the financial skills critical to managing an agricultural enterprise.
