The two measures, Daily DIFOT and Channel Performance, are designed to help you understand how we are performing in delivering your water orders.
Our aim in operating the channels and control system is to provide a consistent level of service, and identify and fix potential issues before damage occurs.
Our targets are:
Channel Performance is the average percentage of the time supply levels were within ±50mm of their Required Operating Level in each channel section across the footprint.
This is a lead indictor and allows us to manage and fix potential issues before they impact your order and DIFOT. It measures whether we met our actual supply level.
Daily DIFOT refers to daily water orders Delivered In Full On Time. It is a lag indicator which measures whether the volume of water you ordered was the amount delivered on the day.
The ability to achieve this is impacted by:
Not Taking Flow – what it means
If you are having on farm issues and are not taking your ordered flow, you will receive a call from the team to understand why.
We are committed to delivering on your order, but if you are not taking the ordered volume, this may impact the performance of the system, potentially causing third party impacts.
Please note, your order may be reduced to the flow you are taking if we are unable to contact you.
Don't hesitate to call us if you are having issues with your order or supply: 1300 138 265.
