Operational Update

Daylight savings starts this weekend

Daylight savings begins this Sunday, 6 October. 

This means that if you are placing an order to end after this date, the water ordering system will automatically increase the order by one hour to the normal finish time to enable lodgement. 
 
Our team will manually adjust all previously submitted orders ending after 6 October to the correct operating time for the channel system.

Shareholder discussion groups

Murray Irrigation has now completed our series of shareholder discussion sessions focused on on how we might work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community. 
 
Thank you to all shareholders who participated in these valuable discussions. We also extend our appreciation to the families who hosted these meetings. 

Our team is now collating your feedback and we will report back to shareholders in November.

Mineral supplementation for beef and sheep webinar 

Meat & Livestock Australia is hosting a free online webinar on Wednesday 9 October, on livestock mineral supplements and their cost-effectiveness.

This webinar features livestock consultant Deb Scammell, who assists producers with nutrition and production planning in their sheep and beef enterprises. She consults directly to farmers and runs industry courses and projects.
 
This webinar covers:
