Talking Water - Tuesday 24 September, 2024
Shareholder discussions continue this week
Murray Irrigation's shareholder discussion groups commenced last Wednesday, and are scheduled to finish this Friday 27 September.
The purpose of these meetings is to gather constructive shareholder input on how we can work together to minimise the impact of buybacks on Murray Irrigation, customers and the local community.
We extend our appreciation to shareholders who have participated in these productive discussions so far, as well as to those who have hosted these gatherings.
The company is gaining great value from the feedback shareholders have been sharing through these meetings.
We look forward to continuing these important conversations over the course of this week, ahead of reporting back to shareholders in November.
For shareholders who would like to attend a meeting, please contact our Customer Experience Team as soon as possible on 1300 138 265 to arrange.

Exploring natural capital - Oaklands
Natural capital is the term given to our natural resources - plants, soil, water, animals and other living things, and the services they provide.
By managing natural resources sustainably, landholders contribute to healthier environments, as well as potentially access financial gains through market opportunities.
Explore the 'ins and outs' of natural capital with Corowa District Landcare at an on-farm field day at Oaklands.
This event will cover:
- What does natural capital mean for you, the environment and farm production?
- Find out how emissions and soil health connect to the bigger picture in agriculture.
- Identifying natural assets.
- View an on-farm revegetation site and hear from a local landholder about their own experiences managing and monitoring natural assets on-farm.
This event will be held on Thursday 10 October, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
