All maintenance areas have transitioned to Regular Operation, effective 12 August 2023, in accordance with our Season Operating Plan.
Our rolling three-year Maintenance Strategy has allowed a total of 1,979 ML to be delivered on farm to customers in non-maintenance areas during our Winter Operations, between 1 June and 10 August.
Each year, we conduct maintenance works on one third of the system, so customers have access to water over winter and early season delivery for two of every three years.
Guaranteed water deliveries are now available to all customers with less than one day’s notice for orders.
WaterNSW has extended access to supplementary water delivery until 19 August, with a further extension likely.
Affected customers have been notified via SMS of the change in access to supplementary delivery.
Please note normal water delivery charges apply. Please note normal water delivery charges apply.

Please note, order starts, changes or finishes must be placed before 6:30am or 6:30pm for the order to be activated in the next 12-hour period.

Murray Irrigation was delighted to catch up with rice growers and sector stakeholders at the 2023 Australian Rice Growers' conference last week.
The two-day event provided our team a terrific opportunity to hear the latest on what is happening within our nation's important rice industry.
The program included an agricultural tour, networking events, trade exhibits, presentations and panel discussions, not to mention the all important annual Rice Industry Awards. On this note, we extend a warm congratulations to locals George Rathbone and John Walter on being awarded Honorary Councillors for their contribution to the Australian rice industry.
Congratulations also to Ricegrowers' Association of Australia, SunRice Group and AgriFutures Australia for hosting this fantastic conference.
