Nuffield Scholar visit

Tom Scrope is a Nuffield Scholar from Yorkshire, UK, who will be visiting Deniliquin and surrounding areas next week exploring how other countries drive the take up of good soil management practices at scale. He is looking for connections in the area.

Through his Nuffield, Tom is exploring how countries like Australia, the US, the Netherlands and France have developed a collaborative approach to sharing information between farms, to find and meet those who have already pioneered and driven it, and ultimately to see how their learnings can help improve soil management in the UK.

Farmers or agronomists in the area who would like to meet and share their knowledge with Tom are encouraged to reach out to him directly via email:

Emergency Trauma Training - Deniliquin

Nutrien Ag Solutions has partnered with CareFlight to bring their Emergency Trauma Training (ETT) program to Deniliquin on Thursday 20 March.

This previous event hosted in mid-2024 was over-subscribed, resulting in an additional trainer being invested in to cater for high demand. Feedback from the day was extremely positive, with participants particularly impressed with depth of knowledge of the CareFlight team and delivery of the content on the day.

ETT courses build knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver lifesaving assistance and allow participants to practice the skills needed to make appropriate decisions, communicate with others at the scene and take action that could help to save a life.

This is beyond first aid – this is trauma training.

Each course can host up to 14 participants and is free for customers, growers, community members and Nutrien employees to attend.

Participants must register prior to this full day workshop via the below button.
