Daylight Saving ends on Sunday 6 April.
For customers placing water orders that end after this date, the water ordering system will automatically reduce your order by an hour to the normal finish time to enable lodgement.
Our Customer Experience staff will manually adjust all orders ending after 6 April to the correct

The information and data provided in Talking Water is for general reference purposes only. We take best endeavours to ensure accuracy.
As communicated in last week’s Talking Water, Murray Irrigation is making positive progress with our Foundational Asset Condition Assessment Project (FACAP).
If you’re interested in learning more about the innovative technology being used as part of this project, and why we have chosen this method of surveying company assets, view the video below.
In the meantime, as a sub project to the FACAP, Beca and Monash University are conducting a research and development trial in a bid to find a cost-effective way of continuously monitoring silt and sedimentation movement across the Murray Irrigation network.
The trial will utilise a number of different floatation devices such as remote controlled devices, plastic balls, rubber balls and/or ducks. The devices will be observed to see how they move through channels in various settings.
This trial will be conducted on Tuesday 1 April on the Moulamein Channel at Atkinsons Lane and Moulamein 3 at Hatwell Road, Deniliquin.
A dedicated landing page for the FACAP is currently under development and, when launched, will provide further information on both the main and sub project we are undertaking with Beca.
Murray Irrigation is pleased to share our latest Community in Focus article featuring the Cobram Barooga Equestrian Club, which has been promoting horse riding in the region since 1992.
Thanks to some great teamwork and local collaboration, the club is riding high after repairing damage to its grounds caused by rabbits.

The Berriquin Irrigators Council is hosting a General Meeting on Wednesday 9 April.

WaterNSW and the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA – Victoria) are currently considering using a combined ‘single queue’ and randomisation process for applications for the 1 July Barmah trade opportunity.
This would leverage the approach that Victoria used in the Goulburn to Murray trade openings last year, and extend this so that it applies to applications received by both WaterNSW and the Victorian Water Register.
WaterNSW is seeking your feedback on this randomisation process by 31 March 2025.
The below trade notification includes more information and details on how to provide feedback.
For further information and updates from WaterNSW, please visit its Trading Water webpage.
