Operational Update

Guaranteed dates and return to Regular Operation 

Mode 3 Regular Operation starts on the guaranteed delivery dates listed below when less than one day’s notice will be required for orders. 


Customers are encouraged to place orders, as early as possible, online via the Customer Portal and are reminded that all orders, prior to the guaranteed dates, are subject to a four-day order notice period. 

Winter Works progress report  

Our Winter maintenance program is progressing well, with 92% of the 3,763 work orders complete as of this morning,

2024-25 Fees and Prices update

Murray Irrigation's Schedule of Charges - Annexure A has been updated to reflect the amended Escapes Agreement with Water NSW, which came in to effect on 1 July 2024.

Inaugural Rice Connect starts tomorrow

Rice Connect kicks off tomorrow, 31 July, at Moama.

Presented by the Ricegrowers’ Association (RGA), SunRice Group, and AgriFutures Australia, the inaugural Rice Connect will bring together growers, researchers, agronomists and industry leaders under one roof. 

The two-day program includes:

Wednesday 31 July

  • Rice Extension CY24 Agronomic Update - 10.00am to 4.00pm. 
  • Rice Industry Awards & Gala Dinner - from 5.30pm.



Thursday 1 August 

  • SunRice Industry Breakfast - 7.00am to 9.00am.
  • Ricegrowers' Association AGM - 9.00am to 11.00am.
  • AgriFutures Rice Technical Research Update - 9.00am to 6.30pm.

Stock Handling Workshop - Katunga

Join the Stock Sense team in this engaging, hands-on session on Wednesday 14 August, featuring renowned Stock Handling expert Jack Briscoe.
