Transition out of Winter Operations

 


This Operational Update provides information on the transition out of Winter Operations into Regular Operation. 


2024-25 Season Operating Mode

Regular Operations will commence in Mode 3 Normal, providing maximum order flexibility for customers with less than one days’ notice for orders. 


The 2024-25 Season Operating Plan is now available on our website and explains the Modes of Operation and how our water delivery year operates.     


To understand the service levels you can expect, the Season Operating Plan should be read in conjunction with our Customer Service Charter


Guaranteed Water Delivery Dates

Mode 3 Regular Operations will commence on the guaranteed delivery dates listed below when less than one days’ notice will be required for orders.

What do customers need to do?

Customers are encouraged to place orders, as early as possible, online via the Customer Portal bit.ly/MILWaterOrdering and are reminded that that all orders, prior to the guaranteed dates, are subject to a 4-day order notice period.

In maintenance areas all orders received will be reviewed daily for delivery on the guaranteed delivery date. 

In non-maintenance areas all orders received will be reviewed daily for delivery, as soon as possible, noting that prior to the guaranteed dates, access to water, including stock and domestic water, is subject to the available water in the channel section.
