Barmah Choke fly over

Murray Irrigation and Local Landholder Associations received 18 responses to the expression of interest advertised in last week's Talking Water for shareholders and customers interested in participating in a free educational flight over the Barmah Choke.

A total six flyovers (three passengers per flight) were scheduled in response to this joint initiative, which was the brainchild of Local Landholder Associations.

The first three flights took place last Friday, with the remaining three scheduled for the coming weeks.

A huge thank you to pilot Peter McDonald (AOC Thule Aviation), whose extensive knowledge of the local landscape and its history made for an interesting and informative outing for passengers involved in Friday’s flights.

This expression of interest is now closed.

James Jewell, Noel Baxter and Louis Kelly.

Lindsay Marshall, Lachlan Marshall and Neil Campbell.
